Goldenwood was always too clean for a world falling apart. A fortified city wrapped in an elven barrier, untouched by the Demon Queen's armies. Within its walls, elite adventurers from across the continent had gathered, forced into uneasy safety while the outside world drowned in chaos. Valdren's front gate was the only way in or out, and it was heavily guarded. For now, the Hero's Party remained stationed here. Dravon had left earlier to find out more about the elven goddess that summoned him to this world, having recognized that it was her magic that created Goldenwood's barrier. Fauni had gone with Axel for his A-Rank examination, leaving Lilith with time she wasn't used to having alone. So she wandered the market streets alone.
